Der Salat & Go ist ein pfiffiges Produkt zum Mitnehmen von Salat, Snacks und verschiedenen Leckereien zum Picknick, auf die Arbeit oder in die Schule. Sauce, Croutons, Nüsse und ähnliches lassen sich separat in dem kleinen Behälter mitnehmen. Das Besteck sowie der kleine Behälter sind im Deckel integriert. So hat man immer alles beisammen.

- Der große Behälter ist z. B. für ein bis zwei Portionen grünem Salat, Kartoffel- oder Nudelsalat, Obststücke, Frikadellen oder Würstchen.
- Der kleine Behälter ist z. B. für Salatsauce, Ketchup, Senf, Nüsse oder Croûtons.
So geht´s
- So passt das Besteck in den Deckel: am Griffende zusammenstecken und mit dem Messer nach unten in den Deckel einsetzen.
- Saubere Sache: benutztes Besteck in der leeren Schüssel unterbringen.
- Leichtes Öffnen: 60-ml-Behälter und Besteck aus dem Deckel nehmen, dann den Deckel an der großen Lasche nach oben abziehen.
Vorteile
- Richtig clever. Zum Mitnehmen einer Portion Salat ist hier alles mit dabei: ein Behälter für den Salat, ein Behälter für das Dressing und Besteck zum Essen des Salats.
- In den kleinen Behälter können bis zu 60 ml eingefüllt werden und er hat eine Maßeinteilung bei 15 ml, 30 ml, 45 ml und 60 ml.
- In den größeren Behälter passen bis zu 1,5 l.

Another Tezuka scifi classic
Format: Paperback
The story is a collection of short, loosely connected, stories concerning birds. Attaining higher intelligence, they begin fighting back against humanity for dominance and freedom.
The first few chapters are very reminiscent of Hitchcock's "The Birds" as they, seemingly out of nowhere, start attacking people and whole cities. Eventually there is a way to communicate and negotiate with them and a truce is made, however it doesn't end there. Many generations pass and birds start gaining larger brains, talking, wearing clothes, etc. And humans devolve into feral cavemen a la, "Planet of the Apes".
It is worth noting that there is a chapter featuring a black character who is drawn in a outdated, racist, charicature style. As in all Tezuka books, there's a disclaimer about things like this given the time they were written. I believe, however, that it's worth mentioning as some people feel differently about things like that and with a disclaimer you can now decide for yourself if you want to make your own judgement of the work.
That one part aside, I think the work is some of his best. His ideas and artistry really are top notch. You can also plan to lookout for more manga reviews from me Mangamatt, whether here or on other platforms.

I Welcome Our New Bird Overlords

Great one and done love letter to 90s Image comics.
Format: Hardcover
This is quite possibly the best comic I have read in quite sometime. The art is great, the story is very well written. It's a fun love letter to 90s Image comics that works even if you've never read an issue of them. My biggest complaint is that there isnt more, as the series ended with a pretty low issue count. Even still it feels complete and is a fun ride. I highly recommend this hardcover as the best way to collect the full series.

Smalltown Superhero Noir
Format: Paperback
Not your standard superhero battle-fest. Local Man is what happens when suddenly you're not 20 anymore, you're kicked off the team in disgrace and have to basically beg your judgy parents for couch space while you somehow, someway, try to put your life back together.
And then there are all the murders, just after you come into town. Makes a body think, it does.
Hard smalltown noir, with nasty little secrets and petty jealousies, mixed with a superhero chaser, My new favorite.
