Tokonameyaki is a type of pottery produced mainly in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture. Tokoname ware is very famous for its vermilion teapots. In addition to kyusu, terra cotta tiles are also famous, and this pottery is also useful as a building material. Terra-cotta-colored pottery is also often produced as bonsai pots, but the aging of the artisans is a real problem in this region, and the problem of successors is becoming more serious.
