Botanical Name: Phil01 'Little Phil' PBR

Native Region/Environment: Cultivar from Australia

Sun/Light: Lowest light requirement of philodendron species; early morning sun, diffuse natural light or artificial lighting.

Temperature: Indoor plant conditions: low of 60.  Outdoors in USDA Zones 11-12

Water: Let the top 2" of soil between waterings; standing water will promote root rot.

Soil: Well draining, organically rich. 

Growth Pattern: Small, small shrub, ideal for indoor pot.

Mature Size: Dense and compact at 14" x 14" at maturity makes it ideal for the kitchen counter, window sill, bookshelf or office desk.

Attributes: Compact, low light, resilient. 'Lil Phil' is a self heading philodendron which means it will grow upright without being a climber nor a Liana vine.

Pot: 4"   

It is called "The Perfect House Plant" because it is extremely adaptable and one of the most forgiving to neglect-but please understand-that is not intended to be a challenge...

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
