the late 90s, early 2000s dress offered here is a more demure example of a classic galliano-dior silhouette-- bias cut with a long row of button closures down the side, 1930s-influenced and cut to hug and accentuate the curves of the female body. the checkered silk is lined in a silk chiffon crepe. the draped ruffle collar extends to a matching open back. the shape of the dress is especially beautiful in movement and would make a beautiful wedding or occasion dress. a great investment piece that will only go up in value.
