Wonderful golden striped silk with floral design in vertical bands, inspired by Victorian textiles makes up this sweet California shirt waist dress by Holly Hoelscher. Button bodice, cuffed sleeves, hooks at waist inside. Has iconic Holly Hoelscher petersham ribbon inside waist. Pleated skirt.

Does have a few minor flaws. The armscyes have been repaired along seam, and the silk at back of neck is damaged (can be repaired, and hidden easily with a tack stitch to keep it from dropping down). Tiny hole in front, one place where silk is slightly worn on back of shoulder. No stains- certainly wearable as is.

Needs a belt but with the colors in those flower finding one should be fun!

This seems to be well-made and I like the configuration. It should hold passport, ID, credit cards, cash and any travel docs with no problem.
