With this little black 1920s dress you create a fabulous entrance to your roaring 20s party. The dress is made of black satin fabric which is soft to the touch and drapes very well. It's handmade and has a boat neckline. The 20s evening dress can be worn, for example, as a Great Gatsby party dress or Lady Mary dress. Though designed as an evening dress, it can be worn to a daytime party too.

 DRESS DESIGN

The style is loose fitting with almost a straight bodice. The dress features a skirt inset on each side seam, adding lovely details and making the dress rather practical as it creates wider skirt hem circumference easy to walk or dance in. It is drop-waisted, sleeveless and comes with a boat neckline.

The dress is fully lined with soft breathable rayon fabric, has no zipper, and can be slipped on through the head. Thanks to its loose-fitting design. Professionally and neatly hand-crafted with great attention to small details.

The dress length is a couple of inches below the knee or depending on your height. Check length details below for each size. Please note that because of its drop waist, the dress will look less flattering or less correct if you are a lot shorter or taller than the person’s height recommended for each size. In that case, we recommend ordering a custom size. There are no extra charges for the customization. Contact us for this.

NB: The accessories (necklace, gloves, hats) are not included in the listing.

CARE

Hand wash, in cool water (30C). Hang to dry and iron with low heat.

It’s not particularly mild so make sure you’re okay with it. It’s not a thick lotion in my book, has a yogurt consistency. You can feel the moisturizing effect as soon as you put this lotion on. It is a comforting lotion without being sticky or heavy, easy to absorb into skin. Although very nice and comfortable feeling when putting on, it doesn’t last through the next day in Colorado winter. I have to use it one more time on my legs during the day otherwise I get itchy. I apply this lotion at night after shower and I don’t shower put lotion on the next morning. If you do shower and lotion up in the morning then this might be good enough for a whole day. I’m used to applying lotions on damp skin but this lotion is very easy to spread, feels nice going on my dry legs as well. I love using it after washing my hands. I apply lotion every time I wash my hands and this lotion works great in that regard. It doesn’t feel greasy or particularly slippery when I wash my hands again either. I might try another lotion for winter once I finish these bottles but this is definitely a solid product, and I can see myself repurchasing in the future.
