It also sounds great being overdriven by another gain raising pedal, emulating the natural breakup reaction of a tube amplifier.

The NEW side switch toggles a set of clipping diodes that transforms the effect into a light overdrive pedal, with either pre or post volume options selectable via internal DIP switches. At PRE setting, the Caffeine Boost delivers a uniform overdriven distorted sound, and with the POST setting, the distortion increases as the volume of the pedal is raised, emulating the natural breakup of a tube amplifier.
